The Singapore Food Festival, launched yesterday, is back in Brunei for its fifth year, bringing in popular delicacies from Singapore, and will end March 11.
Launching the ceremony was the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Hj Mohd Rozan Dato Paduka Hj Mohd Yunos, witnessed by the High Commissioner of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam, Joseph Koh, at the RBC Restaurant at the Brunei International Airport in Berakas.
Chef Skuter, a well-known celebrity chef from Singapore, was especially flown to Brunei to personally present some authentic Singapore cuisine, including the popular Singapore ponggol chili crab, nyonya popiah, Singapore chicken rice, Singapore mee rebus, mee Siam a la Singapore, Pongteh chicken, Sioh duck, fried meat cincaluk, Geylang rojak and many more.
Lucky draw prizes sponsored by Grand Hyatt Singapore and Singapore Airlines will also be featured during the festival, including a special draw for dine-in guests with prizes such as two return air tickets to Singapore with complimentary three-day two-night accommodation at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Singapore.
Meanwhile, Baiduri cardholders are entitled to a 15 per cent exclusive discount upon presenting their RBC Dining Privilege Card; 10 per cent for RBA Amex Card; and 5 per cent for Gold, Classic and Debit Card.
The daily promotion buffet lunch is available at $19.90 per adult and $10 per child served from 12 noon to 2pm. Meanwhile, dinner buffet is at $29.90 per adult and $15 per child from 7pm to 10pm. For reservations, contact 2331853 or 2339207.
